Transitional Kindergarten Students are creative and seek independence.

They are eager to try new things and have started being able to focus for longer periods of time.  They have started sorting visual things by attributes like size, shape, and color. They know how to compare and contrast by things like height, size, or texture.   Lessons that work best for this age are fun and short and simple.
